The Early Warnings for All Multi-Stakeholder Forum for Africa, taking place on 21 October 2024 in Windhoek, Namibia, will bring together diverse stakeholders to enhance Africa’s disaster preparedness. This event, held during the 9th Africa Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, will focus on improving early warning systems across the continent. Key themes include inclusivity, innovation, governance, and financing. By accelerating the implementation of the 2023–2027 Action Plan, the forum aims to strengthen resilience, share best practices, and foster collaboration to protect vulnerable communities from weather-related hazards.
